Jodhpur to Jaislamar

Hey hey hey!!

Today we drove about 5 hours from Jodhpur to Jaislamar. The drive was normal everything I have already mentioned about the driving. And it’s funny because it’s kind of becoming normal, so we will see how driving is when I get back! 

Once we arrived in Jaislamar we tried very hard to get to our hotel, but somehow no one could find it. Apparently you couldn’t drive all the way up (because it was in a fort) and you couldn’t take a tuk tuk (tiny moped car) because the roads were too busy, so we walked. But upon reaching the hotel it was worth it. It was a small two bedroom hotel, which in we were occupying both rooms. And it had a rooftop which was absolutely perfect for seeing the beautiful sunrise. 

However this hotel is ran by a single boy, around my age. He cooks cleans and makes sure the rooms are fully prepared with everything they need. From what I see at school on a normal basis, I’d say that this young boy is very independent, and is actually making himself useful, not just playing Fortnite all day. Just saying though...

After seating in we went out too look at shops and explore the wonderful city. Dad bought a shirt and we found a place to buy waters, besides that we didn’t buy much more. And we headed to find dinner. We found a nice Italian restaurant (look at us branching out). And let me tell you it was delicious!!! Absolutely amazing!! So much so we might go back to eat again tomorrow, but who knows we will see.

Now we are headed back to the hotel to relax before headed to sleep.
