Um.........Hello!
Hey everyone!! How is your day? My day has been fantastic, I hope yours has too! Anyways today we took a bus to Pisac; were they have a big market every Sunday. There is also ruins up there but that's not as important, at least I don't think.
After the one hour drive to Pisac we headed into the market, because Riley was getting a little motion sickness from the bus. We walked in the market for about 20 minutes, and Riley was feeling good enough to take a taxi to the ruins.
Once we reached the ruins at the top of the hill, we got out and walked around for about an hour. I have to say the ruins never impressed me much, but the views were amazing; absolutely beautiful!! You could see most of the town from the top, and unlike Machu Picchu only took about 25 minutes to walk up to the top (not including picture breaks).
Once back down in town we walked around a little bit before finding lunch, it was a nice restaurant and was highly rated. Ri and I had spaghetti and dad had some beef and rice thing. It was very very good. Next door there was a little bakery; and we ordered two pieces of bread and an enchilada but instead of bread we got some kind of apple pie thing. It was pretty gross.
After the hour bus ride back we grabbed a taxi to our hotel, and rested for an hour. I hate to say it but we did not buy one thing at the market. We found that it is cheeper in Cusco. so when we got back to Cusco I got a blanket I had been wanting for a while.
For dinner we had a set menu witch included soup, and a main dish. I got quinoa soup and a quesadilla the soup was good but the quesadilla was a little to spice for my tast.
After dinner we walked around for a little and then headed back to our hotel to get a good nights sleep.
Miss you all,
T
P.S. If you are ever board txt me and I will get back to you when possible.
