The end of the Turkey trip
This is most likely the last blog of the trip as Saturday and Sunday we will be traveling mainly and hopefully will have no issues with our flights ;)) I will keep you updated however if something changes! Thanks for reading my Turkey adventures!!
Update #2: We just woke up it is 9:10am and we are now headed to breakfast before beginning our day.
Update #3: Our first stop was to the fairy chimneys. These were rock formations that looked similar to a long tall mushroom. We hiked around among these before finding some that would could enter. Dad and riley climbed even further up to see the top floor of these rocks. It was super cool that people used to live in these.
Update #4: Our next stop is other rock formations deep inside a valley. These were mainly closed off so a lot of them we couldn’t enter but we finally found one that we could go into. This one you could climb super high up probably about 3 stories. This freaked my mom out, but it was actually pretty cool and the view from the top was unbeatable!
Update #5: After this we headed back home to rest before headed back out to see a rock castle. I slept for about 2 hours and it was awesome!
Update #5: We headed to see a rock castle, but we saw it from the back side which had probably about 1,000 houses built into the rock. On this branch of our trip we have seen a lot of rock houses! It was super cool, we didn’t really walk up too much but close enough to get some food pictures!
Update #6: We then decided to take a little bit of drive around the city. We ended up going off road (which my mom was not too fond of right off the bat). We continued to go off roading down this tiny road for about 8 minutes, the whole time mom was sitting in the backseat not too thrilled about this route home. However, we saw some pretty amazing views from the off route drive!
Update #7: When we arrived home we had about an hour 1/2 before we were being picked up for a Turkish night. So we all showered and had a little rest time before then.
Update #8: We got picked up at 8:15pm for a unlimited dinner and show. It was very interesting as we watched typical Turkish cultural dances and song. It was a very interesting and we got so much food and they continued to fill our soft drinks and juices up. After the show we drove home and headed to bed.
This will be the last blog of the Huth Turkey 2022 trip unless something absolutely crazy happens at the airport (which we never know). Saturday we will be traveling from Cappadocia to Istanbul and then on Sunday from Istanbul to Paris and then Home :))
