Amsterdam
Today we started off the day by eating a healthy breckfast. I did not eat because I was not hungry. After this we were packing up to leave on one of the only trains that were leaving the station today (because of the train strike). Then the owner came and looked around the place to make sure we didn't break anything, but of course she found nothing broken. During this time Riley had to use the restroom (the key in this door did not exactly work, it was old, rusty, and sticky, and when Mom and I went to the bathroom we closed the door, but never really locked it) so you can probably imagine what happened next. Riley locked herself in th bathroom and could not get out. Remember we still need to catch that only train that leaves for Amsterdam! So we where stressed and Riley was scared and the owner who speaks no English is giving Riley commands in German. Everyone was at a loss when "click" the door popped open and out came Riley. Luckily we made it just in time to catch our train ;)
Amsterdam:
We reach Amsterdam, which may I tell you is very beautiful. Our first experience was how to cross the street. First you have to look to the right (usually) and look out for bikes. Then you have to look both ways (usually) for cars. Then you must look both ways (again) for silent trams. Finally you have to look left (usually) for more bikes. Then you just have to look out for all the people rushing toward you. Think about this then remember that we have two huge backpacks full of stuff, and two rollaways.
