Amsterdam day four! Last day!π
Today we mainly walked around and toured the city. We were able to get a hop on hop off boat ride, where we took the boat to a flea market. Unfortunately, we were not able to go to the flea market because it was not open, maybe because of bad weather, maybe because they didn't need to be open, nobody really knows. Riley and I were very disappointed, but we made up for it by having lunch. We ate at a nearby super market which had a small dinning area. So Dad got a sandwich with meat and cheese I didn't try it but he said it was good he also got a coke which he split with me. Riley had a tuna sandwich with lettuce and tomato, it looked weird but didn't tast to bad. I got a pasta salad, with pasta, a little bit of spinach, onions, pesto, and mozzarella balls.
Then we went to the diamond museum, we did this because we were one, freezing, and two, kinda interested in diamonds? We don't honestly know. But it was actually very interesting.
This is what a dimond startes out to be, it's a pyramid with two sides.
Then they cut off the tops and make it smaller.
Then they round it more until it becomes more like a diamond.
And they keep doing that until it looked like this.
Their diamonds were very beautiful. This man is shaping a very small diamond, the wheel was spinning so fast that you couldn't even see it.
And this is where diamonds are found all over the world.
