Paris day one

Image
Today we got up nice and early, checked out, and got on a train to Paris!! It only took about one hour, and when we reached the station we were lost..........it was a very big station and we couldn't find the metro exit, finally after asking about like 100,000,000 people we found it. So we got on the metro and when we reached Paris we walked to our VRBO, which was only like two muinets away. When we reached it we unpacked a little and went out.  We first walked to Noter Dame, a huge church which was beautiful.  It was very very big. On the way we saw a long bridge covered with locks. It was so cool.  This was amazing, Riley wanted to buy a lock to put on the bridge but it was very expensive. After that we made our way to the momorial. It was sad, they put 200,000 glowing crystals for every single person that died when the Natzzies came and killed them. At the end of the tunnel, if you look very hard, you will see a single light. This single light stands for hope, hope for all.

Belgium day four! Last day😭😭😭😭

Today I woke up and didn't eat. I wasn't very hungry. Then we hopped on a train to Brussels, a big town in Belgium. When we reached Brussels we found a nice waffle place and ate a waffle. After that we went to the town, in the town we stopped at many many many chocolate places. Riley and I made a pact to go into every chocolate store, and I think for the most part we did, and there were a few chocolate places that we purposely didn't go into. After that we went into the crown ceter which is very big and beautiful.   This is the city hall. It was huge it even had its own courtyard. We didn't actually go into the city hall but we did see it from the outside and we went into the courtyard.  Uncle Mark: A chocolate beer. The Beer Temple. The Beer Planet. Hope you liked it ☺️☺️☺️ Ice cream unfortunately we didn't get any......... A soap shop look at all that soap..... Waffles also didn't get any😭😭 Bit we did get a crepe, it was magnificent.  Then we had to see what

Today Riley and I started off by eating yogurt 🍧 and croissants. Then made our way out to see Ghent, first we started by seeing Saint Peterson's (or something like that) church. It was magnificent.   After that we were off to find the bell tower (btw we are following a Rick Steves tourπŸ˜–πŸ˜–πŸ˜–). The bell tower was...honestly it was amazing!!!! It was so cool to learn about how a bell was made and to look at the spectacular view.  How they make bells:   http://youtu.be/RW2Vwq6qco0   This link should explain how they make bells. Next we went to shop around and get lunch. We saw a grocery store and then knew it was our best bet, or at least that's what Mom and Dad knew (or thought they knew). But it actually turned out to be good, I got a hamburger with fries, this was the best hamburger ever (guess what? It was even better than McDonald's, but what couldn't be better than McDonald's?) It had a sweet and sour sauce in it that just hit the spot.πŸ˜‹πŸ”πŸŸπŸŸπŸŸπŸŸ We toured mor
