Frio means cold

Today we started off the day by having a nice healthy breckfast. It was the same breckfast we had yesterday, so in reality it wasn't completely healthy. 

After breakfast we headed down the street to see the mariposas, and it was definitely worth the walk. You payed to get in obviously, but once you were in you saw butterfly's everywere! They were on the walls in the trees on the ground, eating banana's off of a plate on a stool. It was beautiful! There were about 15 different kinds of butterflies in there.

One of the coolest parts was you could actually watch the butterflies hatch, you could see them in the first several stages of life. After they push themselves out of the cocoon they have to spread there wings out to their full potential before letting them dry, then being able to fly. It was really cool to watch!

Then we got in our bathing suits and got ready to go tubing...........

I have to admit this was the best part of my day! It was a blast! First we got into a car that drove us up to the starting point of our journey. We were nervous, and it was absolutely freezing, but we were ready. There were about 8 tubes all put together, so that the guides would be able to easily guide us around the rocks. For 6$ a person we took a 20 minute ride down the river, it was extreamly fun! While on there I thought about how much fun it would be to have something this cheap in Colorado, and how fun it would be to go down with all of you guys!

After this we went back to our hotel to rest because we were all pooped from getting up so early and seeing so much. So we hung around the hotel for about an hour, we also ate a lunch of pasta. 

Then we went back out to find the orchid garden, but got distracted along the way by some gifts we needed to buy. The garden was ok, but we had a guide and he talked a lot, and we all really agreed that it was a little bit boring. But the garden itself was very very very beautiful it was mossy and full of green, green, green, and an occasional color of red or pink, maybe orange. 

Dinner!! By this time it was like 5:30 and once again we were hungry so we headed to the pizza place we visited the other night. This time we bought two pizzas and a pasta. Dinner was soon enough over and we all felt like a brownie. Yep! We got a brownie and some ice cream! It was delicious, then it was time to start back to our hotel to clean and sleep!
